Brent Nesdahl Obituary, Death – Chief Brent Nesdahl passed away on November 18, 2023, and the Emerado Volunteer Fire Department responds to his final alarm with much sadness. Chief Nesdahl’s devotion to the welfare of others was evident from the start of his committed service to the community in June 2009. He had a number of positions throughout the years, rising up the ranks until being appointed Chief in February 2016—a role he remained in until his untimely death.
