Gordon Mcdougall Obituary, Death – Gordon McDougall’s death on June 6, 2011, was a tragic loss for everyone whose lives he had touched. Gordon passed away at the age of 70, comforted by the presence of his beloved family. His life, a monument to love, commitment, and kindness, made an unforgettable influence on anyone who had the opportunity of knowing him. Gordon had a strong connection with his wife Kate McDougall (née Pawliw) for 49 years. They made it through life’s challenges together, cultivating a love that led the way for their children. Gordon’s devotion for his kids Todd (Kelly) and Kevin (Lynn) was unlimited.

His role as a father was not just a duty but a privilege, evidenced in the deep affection and constant support he provided to his children. Gordon’s grandchildren Kristen, Brandon, Cole, Hope, Carter, and Chase were the lights of his life. He relished every moment he was able to spend with them, sharing in their joy and innocence as he imparted wisdom and helped create memories that would remain with them always. Gordon was a cherished brother to Harvey (Mary) and Basil (Nancy) McDougall in addition to being a devoted family guy. On June 9, 2011, family and friends gathered at the Henry Walser Funeral Home to celebrate Gordon’s life and say their final goodbyes by sharing stories and expressing their deepest sympathies. To honor his life and achievements, a memorial mass was held at St. Aloysius RC Church. Gordon’s family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lung Association or the Children’s Wish Foundation, both of which he supported. Though Gordon McDougall has passed on to eternal rest, the love he spread and the lives he touched will continue to honor his legacy.
