Gordon was a cherished brother to Harvey (Mary) and Basil (Nancy) McDougall in addition to being a devoted family guy. Gordon’s devotion to his family never wavered, even after the deaths of his parents, Reginald and Iolene McDougall.

On June 9, 2011, family and friends gathered at the Henry Walser Funeral Home to celebrate Gordon’s life and say their final goodbyes by sharing stories and expressing their deepest sympathies. To honor his life and achievements, a memorial mass was held at St. Aloysius RC Church. Gordon’s family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lung Association or the Children’s Wish Foundation, both of which he supported. Though Gordon McDougall has passed on to eternal rest, the love he spread and the lives he touched will continue to honor his legacy.
