Gordon passed away at the age of 70, comforted by the presence of his beloved family. His life, a monument to love, commitment, and kindness, made an unforgettable influence on anyone who had the opportunity of knowing him. Gordon had a strong connection with his wife Kate McDougall (née Pawliw) for 49 years. They made it through life’s challenges together, cultivating a love that led the way for their children. Gordon’s devotion for his kids Todd (Kelly) and Kevin (Lynn) was unlimited.

To honor his life and achievements, a memorial mass was held at St. Aloysius RC Church. Gordon’s family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lung Association or the Children’s Wish Foundation, both of which he supported. Though Gordon McDougall has passed on to eternal rest, the love he spread and the lives he touched will continue to honor his legacy.
