Violet Law Obituary, Death – With a bittersweet mix of love and sadness, the Law family shares the news of the passing of their daughter, Violet Aurora Sison Law, on November 11, 2023. Born on June 11, 2019, Violet has inspired all around her with her tremendous resilience and positive outlook. From birth, Violet had to face the challenges of GM1 Gangliosidosis; this neurological illness sparked a movement that ultimately benefited her family and community.

Despite all the odds, her valiant battle prompted a movement to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for research and generate much-needed awareness for the GM1 community. Her medical doctor parents were profoundly affected by their daughter’s experience and have decided to devote themselves to the cause. Violet’s impact was felt far beyond her inner group; she even helped secure May 21 as GM1 Gangliosidosis Day in the halls of Congress.
